MISSION

The mission of Goodcity is to identify and then support high potential community-based entrepreneurs whose goals are to create or enhance neighborhood and faith-based programs that promote self-sufficiency, hope and a sense of purpose in the lives of individuals in underresourced communities. Goodcity seeks to propel these social entrepreneurs to achieve maximum impact through in-depth training, mentoring and milestone-based funding.

CORE VALUES

Inspired by our Christian values, we seek to serve all types of people in under-resourced communities regardless of their faith, ethnicity, gender or age. Our core values are as follows:

Human Capacity: Every person is endowed with special skills and potential to make a difference in this world. Goodcity-supported programs seek to unlock and develop that potential.

Community Partnerships: Community-based entrepreneurs are best able to identify community needs and propose effective programs designed to meet those needs.

Sustainability: We seek to identify community-based entrepreneurs who can develop programs that are ultimately sustainable independently of Goodcity.

Accountability: Working with community-based entrepreneurs; we define measurable objectives for all of our programs and then regularly benchmark them against these objectives.
