Grant Underwrites Goodcity's Incubation of 10 Non-Profit Programs Serving Chicago's Underserved Communities
Goodcity, Chicago's leading faith-based organization serving emerging non-profit community-based organizations, today announced it has received a $75,000 grant from Chase to support its incubation of 10 programs serving Chicago's underserved neighborhoods.

January 25, 2007 -- Reverend Ruben Robinson is more than just keeping children in Chicago's North Austin community off the streets. He is empowering them both socially and academically. He is doing it all through a program that teaches tumbling.
Goodcity Launches Neighborhood Grants Program in North Lawndale
Goodcity is proud to announce the launch of the Neighborhood Grants Program in North Lawndale. This program seeks to promote resident participation and leadership through neighborhood-based projects. In order to encourage and support the work of resident-based groups the NGP continues to award grants to projects that address neighborhood concerns; demonstrate strong neighborhood support and collaboration among residents whose mission is to improve the quality of life in North Lawndale. The NGP is generously funded by The Steans Family Foundation.
Goodcity Partners with LCDC and LISC
Goodcity is pleased to announce its partnership with the Lawndale Christian Development Corporation and LISC to help build the capacity of organizations in North Lawndale.
