Opportunity Zones are a new community development program established by Congress in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 to encourage long-term investments in low-income urban and rural communities nationwide. The Opportunity Zones program provides a tax incentive for investors to re-invest their unrealized capital gains into Opportunity Funds that are dedicated to investing into Opportunity Zones designated by the chief executives of every state and territory in the United States.

What are we doing?
Goodcity is working with strategic partners to create a national infrastructure for the purpose of:
Creating education and learning opportunities for local and national networks.
Developing an infrastructure to manage "Opportunity Funds."
Below are three ways you can be involved today:
Learning and Education
Join us at one of our upcoming Opportunity Conference in a city near you. Opportunity Conferences are two day gatherings designed for government leaders, community leaders, business leaders to learn about Opportunity Zones and other local investment tools for community development. A list for all upcoming Opportunity Conferences are forthcoming.
Be a part of a community
Be an inaugural member of the Opportunity Network. The Opportunity Network is a membership organization working to provide educational opportunities and certification classes for the operation and management of Opportunity Funds and other community enterprises in an Opportunity Zone.
Memberships start at $1000.
Start a fund
Work with our team to help you start a fund in your local community today. Our partners will provide the legal structure to house and manage the fund. If you elect to manage your own fund, we can provide the certification to show the social and economic impact your fund will provide to the community.
